Hi! Sorry to hear that you're having trouble. This is an issue that we are aware of and are working to resolve.

In the meantime, you can try using the following launch option (right click on the game in your Steam library, select properties, click the "Set Launch Options" button, and type out the launch option below) to enable a configuration window before the game starts.

Alternatively, some people have had success from changing the game to windowed mode and back.
