TRY THIS!
Go to Origin, then to settings,
click the "In Game" tab and untick the box next to "Enable Origin In Game".
This stops the Origin Overlay In Game (Shift + F1). This just MIGHT work. I know it worked for someone.

Basically, just open msconfig and tick selective bootup or something similar, reboot. I have no idea why this would work, though...

I MAY have a solution to this problem.

I too have been suffering from the white screen of death, and I may have found the problem (at least for me)

I found out that the problem was in the drivers. I have a ATi 7970m on my laptop. Whenever I would update my drivers, I would forget to uninstall the PREVIOUS driver. I don't know how, but updating a driver without uninstalling the previous one seems to be the main reason.

In short, ANOTHER POSSIBLE FIX is a stated one: Update your GPU drivers. However, you must uninstall the previous driver before installing the current one.

PS: I also disabled my anti-virus before playing, this is also another POSSIBLE solution.

go to documents and go to bf3 folder and then delete settings folder origin will replace them when you launch it next time , it worked for me ^^

Try switching it to 640x480 by right-clicking BF3.exe, choose propertiies -> compatibility. Not sure if this works, might help. Then in-game you select the right resolution for you. Hope this works
